ROB’S REPORT – Witnessing at the LDS Fall Conference 2011
Dear Ministry Team,
The LDS Fall General Conference was very exciting and busy this year. Conference was held on October 1st and 2nd and the weather was very nice, short sleeve weather. So Doug and I were able to wear our mission shirts. Mine says, "Why Don't Mormons Believe the Book of Mormon?" (Alma 11:26-29) and Doug's shirt and sign says, "Is the Mormon Jesus the Same Jesus of the Bible?" (2 Corinthians 11:4).

WITNESSING IN UTAH - June 2011
Well, another Manti Utah Mormon outreach has come and gone, but the thousands of seeds that were planted will continue to grow, hopefully bearing fruit in the days, months and years to come. Doug and I spent 9 days in Manti Utah, giving us 7 nights of witnessing to the LDS people on the streets outside the Manti Mormon temple grounds where the Mormon Miracle Pageant is held. Even though it was obvious that the LDS attendees were much lower in numbers than in previous years, it didn't seem to hinder the evangelism efforts of the 200+ Christian missionaries that showed up both weeks of the pageant. Every Christian missionary had many conversations and hundreds of tracts were handed out. As Chip Thompson has coined, "God is good all the time."

HOW BEST TO TEACH MORMONISM TO MORMONS By Former Mormon Bishop, Lee B. Baker
Purpose It is my opinion, as a former Mormon Bishop and member of that faith for over 30 years, that the best possible situation to teach a Mormon. Mormon Investigator or even a Mormon Convert about Mormonism, is within their own sheltered environment and from their own authorized and public documentation. In this safe atmosphere, as opposed to a cold-contact within a large group, they are naturally and more genuinely committed to the teaching opportunity that they perceive is under their control.
The very point of this strategy of love and compassion is to plant the seeds of truth at the lowest possible level within the Mormon Church, and then to have those truths repeated up through the Mormon Leadership, into meetings and among those whom you and I will never have access to. If this process is repeated hundreds or even thousands of times, then Mormons will struggle with other Mormons to deal with the truth, on our behalf, as they justify or defend Church actions or Doctrine that they themselves would not otherwise have found the need to come to terms with.
